Greetings, friends! I hope you're doing great! Today, I want to share with you an illustration I made of the Xolo creature, aiming for a style somewhat similar to Disney or comics—well, at least I tried, and this was the result, haha. The inspiration for this illustration was a story about several puppies that escaped and returned to their owners, a classic Disney-style trope. I’ll give you more details about that at the end of the post. Regarding the illustration itself, I first drew the box and built the characters on top of it; I wanted them to look cute, like puppies in a box waiting to be adopted. As always, I also wanted to try out some new texture brushes and one that allowed me to add that little butterfly—it has its own special meaning. Anyway, friends, I hope you like it!

¡Saludos, amigos! ¡Espero que estén muy bien! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una ilustración que hice de la criatura Xolo, buscando un estilo un tanto parecido al de Disney o al cómic; bueno, al menos hice el intento y este fue el resultado, jaja. El motivo de esto es que la inspiración para esta ilustración fue una historia de varios perritos que escaparon y volvieron con sus dueños, algo clásico de las historias de Disney. Al final del post, les daré más detalles sobre eso. Con respecto a la ilustración, hice primero la caja y sobre ella construí los personajes; quería que se vieran tiernos, como cachorritos en una caja esperando ser adoptados. También, como siempre, quise probar pinceles nuevos de textura y uno que me permitió agregar esa pequeña mariposa (tiene su significado). En fin, amigos, ¡espero que les guste!

Process/Proceso
The first thing I did was sketch a box, which served as the base for drawing the Xolos inside. To achieve these straight lines, you just need to hold the Shift key and click on the starting and ending points... I know you might already know that, but since others might not, I wanted to share it. Originally, there were going to be three Xolos, but I figured two would look good along with a butterfly in the middle. For the line art, I used this brush in black; you can see its name and settings here. It’s not one I use very often, so the drawing might look a bit different from the box, where I used a different brush.
Lo primero que hice fue el boceto de una caja y, con base en esto, dibujamos los Xolos dentro de ella. Para lograr estas líneas, solo debes presionar la tecla Mayúsculas y hacer clic en los puntos de inicio y fin... sé que tal vez sepas ese dato, pero sé que hay otras personas que no, así que quería compartirlo. Originalmente, serían tres Xolos, pero supuse que con dos quedaría bien y una mariposa en medio. Para el lineart, usé este pincel en color negro; aquí pueden ver el nombre y la configuración que tiene. No es uno que use muy seguido, así que puede que el dibujo se vea algo diferente al de la caja, donde usé otro pincel.
I applied the base color; I didn't want to create a highly detailed background. My initial options were a monochromatic background (a single color), a simple floor, or a meadow. In the end, I decided on the meadow—I know it’s a bit unusual to see creatures up for adoption in the middle of a field, but let's just say it's a city park. To fill the box, I thought about adding something like shredded paper strips.
Apliqué el color base; no quería hacer un fondo con tanto detalle. Mis opciones iniciales eran colocar un fondo monocromo (es decir, de un solo color), un suelo normal o una pradera. Al final, decidí hacer la pradera; sí, sé que es raro ver criaturas en adopción en plena pradera, pero digamos que es un parque de la ciudad. Para rellenar la caja, pensé en agregar algo como papel cortado en tiras.
After slightly blurring the background, we added some grass using a special custom brush on a layer above. This is important because it allows us to later edit specific areas to make them darker instead of having all the grass in the same shade of green. I adjusted the tone of the cardboard box before adding detail and texture. Here, we used a new brush with a paper or cardboard texture, but only for certain areas and details, as well as for the lighting on other parts of the box. I also used it to write the phrase on the box.
Después de difuminar un poco el fondo, aplicamos algo de hierba usando un pincel especial con esta forma en una capa superior; esto es importante, pues luego podemos editar algunas zonas para hacerlas más oscuras en lugar de tener toda la hierba del mismo tono de verde. Estuve ajustando el tono del cartón de la caja antes de darle detalle y textura. As a final step, we add details to the puppies; this stage was actually quite easy. I made variations in the tone, looking for something warmer, as I thought it would be advisable since they are in the sun.

Now the Clip Studio page offers many brushes; I found a nice one that makes these butterfly shapes. It was just a matter of adjusting its size and adding it wherever it was convenient. I wanted to adjust the colors in Corel, but the program made them too bright, so I left them exactly as they were.

Friends, we’ve reached the end, and I hope you liked it! I want to dedicate this drawing to those brave puppies who escaped and walked 17 kilometers to reunite with their families; that story inspired this work. They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone

Hello everyone I hope you are all good and well today in this post is some of the evidence to prove my case
If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone
I've been labelled a lot of things on Hive 😂 by the biggest farmers scammers and downvoters
Actions speak louder than any words do especially when them words are coming from a compolsive liars
