For this sketch, I made both creatures in ball and normal versions. I used some references of real armadillos and tried to imagine what this one would look like in a circular shape. We created the sketch in red and adjusted certain details. Finally, we made the line art in black, and this was the result.

Para este boceto hice las dos creaturas en version bolita y normal. Use alguna referencias de armadillos reales y trate de imaginar cómo se vería este de forma circular. Creamos el boceto en color rojo y ajustamos ciertos detalles.Para terminar, hacemos el lineart en color negro, este fue el resultado.

We apply the base color. Now that I think about it, this palette of greens would have looked great with a red apple instead of the mango, hehe, but oh well, maybe next time.

For this type of drawing, where we want to create a deep forest, we use several layers of similar colors, with the colors becoming lighter the further away they are. As we get closer, we use stronger colors and more detailed shapes. Using a shaped brush, we create some leaves and vegetation; luckily, this type of brush closely resembles the leaves of a mango tree, so I can use it on the leaves of the trees and the vegetation on the ground.

Para este tipo de dibujos donde queremos un bosque profundo, se usan varias capas usando colores similares y, mientras más lejos, más claros. A medida que estamos más cerca, usamos colores más fuertes y formas detalladas. Once the background details are ready, we can apply details to the characters. I had planned to give them detailed, textured armor, but I feel like that would stray too far from the style I've been using, which is more anime-inspired. I did apply some textures to the mango, using orange and a touch of green on the bottom of the fruit.

Tenía pensado hacerles una coraza detallada y con textura, pero siento que me estaría saliendo mucho del estilo que venía llevando, buscando algo más al estilo anime.Con el mango sí apliqué algunas texturas, usando naranja y un toque de verde en la parte de abajo de la fruta.

When finished, all that remains is to adjust the colors in general and add a little more shadow using a layer with the multiply effect. For these shadows, I used blue to make them cool shadows. They are very subtle, to be honest, but I wanted to apply them. This was the final result.

Al terminar solo queda ajustar los colores en general y agregar un poco mas de sombras usando una capa con el efecto multiplicar, para estas sombras use el color azul para que sean sombras frías. son muy sutiles la verdad pero queria aplicarlas. este fue el resultado final
