Greetings dear friends! I hope you are very well, I'm already much better with my hand, today I want to share with you an illustration I made of the character Cinelara, I'm not sure if it qualifies as a candidate for the collection of cards but I wanted to share it with you.
as I mentioned repeatedly I'm not very good at drawing creatures but this has a relatively human form so it does not deviate much from my style or range.
I wanted to give a touch a little more aggressive or battle unlike the original character another detail is the background I didn't want to do something so simple this time.

Saludos apreciados amigos! Espero esten muy bien, yo ya estoy mucho mejor de mi mano, hoy les quiero compartir una ilustración que hice del personaje Cinelara, no estoy seguro si califica como candidato para la colección de cartas pero de igual forma queria compartirlo con ustedes.
como mencione en repetidas oportunidades no soy muy bueno dibujando creaturas pero esta tiene una forma relativamente humana por lo que no se aparte mucho de mi estilo o rango.
quise darle un toque un poco mas agresivo o de batalla a diferencia del personaje original otro detalle es el fondo no quise hacer algo tan simple esta vez.

Reference

Process/Proceso

Originally, I had thought of creating the character flying or jumping through the air, but when I imagined the result I felt that the background would look a bit empty so I decided for a forest background and I think it goes better with this type of character.
Another thing I wasn't sure about was the size of the character, so I took the liberty of making him of an average height, let's say about 1.40 cm.
After finishing the sketch and correcting it's time to create the lineart in black color.
I was thinking that it would be better a thick lineart but I would be changing the style we have so far, maybe another time.

Originalmente, había pensando en crear al personaje volando o saltando por el aire, pero al imaginar el resultado siento que se iba a ver un tanto vacío el fondo por eso me decidí por un fondo de bosque además creo que va mejor con este tipo de personaje.
Otra cosa que no tenia claro es el tamaño del personaje por lo que me tome la libertad de hacerlo de una estatura media digamos unos 1.40 cm.
Al terminar el boceto y corregir es momento de crear el lineart en color negro.
Estaba pensando que seria mejor un lineart grueso pero estaría cambiando el estilo que tenemos hasta el momento. tal vez en otra oportunidad.

Agregamos el color base, tambien una base de color para lo que seria el fondo

I took some time to create the background as you can see in the reference image I used several layers from the farthest to the closest.
to finish the background I gave a couple of details like vegetation and some fireflies.

me tome un tiempo en crear el fondo como pueden ver en la imagen de referencia use varias capas desde la mas lejana hasta las mas cercanas.
para finalizar el fondo di un par de detalles como vegetación y algunas luciérnagas.

I really like how the background turned out, now it's time to finish the character to be honest it wasn't as complicated as the background, just apply shadows and highlights, blur and again reinforce the highlights.
you have to have some logic in the tones we choose for the shadows, that is to say they can't be too saturated and stand out from the rest of the other layers.
sometimes I do it but this time it wouldn't look good.
take a color palette similar to the reference but not so vivid.

Realmente me gusto mucho como quedo el fondo, ahora es momento de terminar el personaje para ser honesto no fue tan complicado como el fondo, solo aplicar sombras y luces, difuminar y nuevamente reforzar las luces.
hay que tener cierta lógica en los tonos que elegimos para las sombras es decir no pueden ser muy saturados y resaltar de el resto de las otras capas.
aveces si lo hago pero en esta oportunidad no quedaría bien.
tome una paleta de colores similar al de la referencia pero no tan vivos.

Finally, we corrected the colors and adjusted a little the brightness of the character.

Para finalizar corregimos los colores y ajustamos un poco los brillos del personaje.

I hope you liked it, I would love to read your opinions in the comments box. I have an idea for the next one, maybe a battle between creatures but I must investigate better the relation of their sizes to give it logic before I do it hehe.
