Beer Tasting 🍺 Beery Greetings 🍺 From Berlin and Paris
Hello, beer lovers! 🍻
How are you doing on these winter days as the holidays and celebrations begin?
It seems perfect for #beersaturday, already the 442nd in a row. Let's get started!

To avoid any misunderstanding, if you have read the title and seen the first picture, I was not there; Berlin and Paris came to me a few weeks ago, and today is obviously the day when I will open these two cans and share the flavors with you.
I got both beers in the Kalea Beer Box, but I couldn't find the brewery's origin anywhere. The only thing I managed to find out is that it's the company's own series Kalea GMBH, based in Salzburg, which distributes beer gift packs and is contract-brewed as tourist souvenirs from the aforementioned cities. Both beers have probably never seen Paris or Berlin :)
Beery Greetings From Berlin

The beer is golden, with average foam that quickly dissipates. It does not have any particular aroma. It goes down smoothly, and I first taste a slight sweetness of malt and the flavor of fresh bread, a hint of caramel, followed by hints of bitterness that linger in the aftertaste for a while, while everything else disappears.

Helles lager, a smooth, juicy beer, 5.1% ABV, IBU N/A, very drinkable, I agree that it is suitable as a tourist gift, at least for beer lovers.

Wine and spirits are also available as gifts, especially at airports.

Beery Greetings From Paris
I don't know what to write here, because this beer is the same as the previous one.
A solid Helles lager, 5.1% ABV, just with a different label design.

I think the idea of selling beer as a tourist souvenir from a specific city is fine, but... but, considering that I've tried many different beers in my life, I know that beers from Berlin are different from beers from Paris, and simply packaging the same beer in a can with a different name doesn't seem like the best idea to me.
I'm not one to judge, but the guys and girls from Kalea could do it better and more authentically.

However, this beer is very drinkable and tasty, there is no doubt about that, at least not for me. I drank both of them and if I had another can from the Beery Greetings series from some other city, I would definitely continue, haha.
And what am I listening to when writing this and tasting beer? Something from Friday's #newtunes, new songs after twenty years.

Thank you very much for your support!
You are welcome 😊
You made me laugh when you said they both taste the same and just seem to be packaged differently to attract more customers. Things happen... At least you enjoyed them, and they don't seem like a bad option for those days when a cold beer is always welcome.
Well, I like the idea of beer as a gift from somewhere, but it should be more, how to say, authentic and original, not just a redesign on can...
Of course.
It's a good idea to tour major European cities without leaving home. But if you travel all over Europe, you might experience a bit of a hangover (another type f jetlag) the next morning 😅
Enjoy your Sunday... cheers
Cheers and a !BEER from someone who is in the middle between Berlin and Paris....
