I remember that when I was a child, Baby Jesus brought me toys, but it was known that if for some reason Baby Jesus didn't come, the toys would be brought by "El Cañonazo" (The Cannon Shot) on the 31st at midnight. If he didn't bring them, there were still two options: that the Three Wise Men would bring them on January 6th, or that Candlemas would bring them on February 2nd.
