Even if they put in on "an easily visible place" that is not intrusive to what you were about to do, there should be a way to make such request not pop up again for a good length of time (let's say 3 months). 🧘‍♂️🤯

Some online advertising platforms (and traffic exchanges) claim that (intrusive) pop-ups cause the highest click-through rate, though they quite obviously hide other (more important) information !INDEED, not to mention that pop-ups often cause page visitors to quickly leave the page. 🤯

In my case, whenever I perform "random" website browsing, any page that has a pop-up that covers most (if not all) of the content often gets a quick "Close tab" from me (Ctrl-W on a desktop/laptop computer) !INDEED. 🤯😆

We can say that it is a "dark pattern" for websites (and other platforms) to have attention-catching ads (and other call-to-action notices) that are not annoying enough to make the user leave the page or not return. 🤯

There's the fact that even good website owners are forced to put (mostly annoying) cookie usage notices to comply with GDPR, even if the websites themselves are not located in Europe. 🤯

Any site updates must be made by the owner/creator, and it's basically just copying a newer version over the previous version. Well, Qortal is very much about privacy and not running dangerous code, which makes most flashy website implementations undesirable. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
