Everyone deserves to live in an environment where they feel safe, valued, and mentally at peace. Protecting people from psychological abuse is an important step towards building healthier families.
Education is not just about acquiring knowledge or earning a degree as some people think it to be. It is about developing character and learning how to treat others with respect and love. I wonder how people forget the true purpose behind education, which is to make positive difference in the lives of others. Thank God you were able to handle the situation.

Yes, @sarahbaby, protecting our peace of mind can sometimes mean facing rejection or contempt from others, even when there’s no real problem at all; there are people who simply don’t have a good relationship with themselves, let alone with others. I appreciate your comment and I also agree that the experience of studying should help us grow as people and learn to respect everyone, not simply because they have a degree or a job title, but simply because we are human beings and we all deserve the same respect that we demand from others.
