Saludos comunidad @diyhub , les deseo un feliz día en unión familiar, me siento feliz de compartir un nuevo proyecto de masa flexible, se trata de una versión de Santa, que será mi entrada para el concurso Fin de año creativo, el cual tiene varias características diferentes al "Santa tradicional" entre ellas el color de la piel que es amarillo claro, el sombrero es una caja de regalo, su contextura más delgada y una bufanda de color verde, no lleva saco de regalo, es un santa que esta relajado disfrutando las vacaciones, los regalos los envía online aprovechando la tecnología, les muestro el proceso de elaboración.
Greetings @diyhub community, I wish you a happy day with your families. I'm happy to share a new polymer clay project: a version of Santa Claus, which will be my entry for the Creative End of Year. This Santa has several features that differ from the "traditional Santa," including his light yellow skin tone, a hat that's a gift box, a slimmer build, and a green scarf. He doesn't carry a gift sack; this Santa is relaxed and enjoying his vacation. He sends gifts online, taking advantage of technology. Here's how to make it.

Para moldear este curioso Santa, iniciamos dividiendo la masa en pequeñas porciones, agregamos pintura mezclamos y hasta obtener el color deseado, los colores a usar en este proyecto son; rojo, blanco, negro, dorado, naranja y verde, luego formamos varias bolas con las masas y sus respectivos colores y a partir de allí iniciamos a trabajar, lo primero que haremos será un rectángulo que será la base o torso del Santa, luego con masa de color blanco agregamos una cinta en el cuello en forma de V y una desde el centro de esta hacia abajo colocamos otra cinta, añadimos pegamento y dejamos secar.
To mold this curious Santa, we begin by dividing the dough into small portions, adding paint, and mixing until we obtain the desired color. The colors to be used in this project are red, white, black, gold, orange, and green. Then we form several balls with the dough and their respective colors, and from there we begin to work. The first thing we will do is make a rectangle that will be the base or torso of Santa. Then, with white dough, we add a ribbon around the neck in a V shape, and from the center of this ribbon downwards, we place another ribbon. We add glue and let it dry.
Con la arcilla negra, añadimos el cinturón, estirándola lo más fina posible, aplicando pegamento y fijándola a la pieza. Con las herramientas de modelado, hacemos varios puntos en las cintas blancas, simulando la tela de peluche que usa Papá Noel en su traje. También colocamos una cinta blanca en la parte inferior.
Para hacer la hebilla de la correa, utilizamos la masa amarilla, agregamos un rectángulo y encima de este hacemos la forma de una C invertida, agregamos pegamento y unimos.
With the black clay, we add the belt, stretching the clay as thin as possible, applying glue and attaching it to the piece. Using the modeling tools, we make several dots on the white ribbons, simulating the plush fabric that Santa wears in his outfit. We also place a white ribbon at the bottom.
To make the strap buckle, we used the yellow clay, added a rectangle, and on top of this we made the shape of an inverted C, added glue and joined them together.
Avanzamos y para hacer las piernas, moldeamos dos cilindros de color rojo y con masa negra, hacemos las botas, las unimos a las piernas y colocamos también felpa en la parte de abajo, para hacer los brazos el proceso es similar, moldeamos dos cilindros, con la masa amarilla hacemos las manos, las unimos a los cilindros y nuevamente colocamos felpa en el borde de las mangas.
We move on to making the legs, we mold two red cylinders and with black clay, we make the boots, we join them to the legs and we also place plush at the bottom, to make the arms the process is similar, we mold two cylinders, with the yellow clay we make the hands, we join them to the cylinders and again we place plush on the edge of the sleeves.
Unimos los brazos y las piernas al torso y con la masa de color amarilla hacemos la cabeza, la pegamos al cuerpo y dejamos secar por varios minutos, aquí es importante el secado, ya que las piezas son gruesas y requieren bastante tiempo para que sequen completamente y puedan compactar, de esta forma evitamos que se rompan por el peso.
Con la masa de color naranja, moldeamos una caja rectangular con una abertura en la parte de abajo, tomamos masa roja y estiramos una cinta delgada, con la cual cubriremos la caja y haremos un lazo, colocamos nuevamente pegamento y dejamos secar.
We attach the arms and legs to the torso and with the yellow clay we make the head, we stick it to the body and let it dry for several minutes. Drying is important here, since the pieces are thick and require quite a bit of time to dry completely and compact, this way we prevent them from breaking due to the weight.
Using orange clay, shape a rectangular box with an opening at the bottom. Take red clay and roll out a thin strip, which you will use to cover the box and tie a bow. Apply glue and let it dry.
Finalmente, unimos el gorro a la cabeza de Santa, colocando suficiente pegamento y con la masa verde aplanamos una tira delgada que será la bufanda, añadimos varias tiras rojas y las pegamos desde el cuello hacia abajo, nuevamente dejamos secar por varios días y así está terminado este singular Santa.
Finally, attach the hat to Santa's head with enough glue. With green clay, flatten a thin strip for the scarf. Add several red strips and glue them from the neck down. Let it dry for several days, and this unique Santa is finished.
