Hello my friends, I'm @sampraise77, and this is my cover of Matt Redman's 10000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) for Afritunes week 157!

This song is such a heartfelt one!
It comes from Psalm 103, which starts with, Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. he wrote a true thank you note to God Every line reminds us that we always have a reason to praise Him, no matter what's going on.

The song starts with a gentle nudge to worship: Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul, worship His holy name. It's like an invite to really adore God, not just because we have to, but because we know how good He is. Redman reminds us that worship isn't just for Sundays; it's a way of life that comes from seeing how faithful God is all the time.

When he sings, The sun comes up, it's a new day, he's talking about God's mercies that are new every day. Each morning is like a clean slate, full of hope and grace from God. Redman paints a of someone who chooses to praise God all day long, knowing that every breath is a reason to praise Him.
