PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 130~Ducks Foraging

Hello....

In the PhotoFeed Wildlife Photography Contest Round 130 hosted by @photofeed, I attempted to share a photo of ducks foraging. In the photo I shared, I saw a group of ducks in shallow water. There were two white ducks with orange beaks and two dark ducks with brown markings. Interestingly, most of the ducks appeared to be foraging underwater with their heads submerged and their tails pointing upwards—a characteristic behavior known as dabbling. This technique is used by ducks to find aquatic plants, insects, or small organisms at the bottom of shallow water.

The clear water with a rocky bottom provides an ideal habitat for ducks to forage. The diversity of feather colors suggests the possibility of different types or breeds of ducks within this group, yet they still swim and engage in activities together. This scene demonstrates the natural harmony and adaptation of ducks in freshwater habitats.

That's all I can share for now. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for reading this post. Thank you.
