PhotoFeed Contest - Portrait Photography Round 132 ~ Portrait of a Resilient Woman on a Bamboo Bridge

Hello...

In the PhotoFeed Portrait Photography Contest Round 132 hosted by @photofeed, I attempted to share a photo of a strong woman on a bamboo bridge. This photo was taken in a village in Tangse sub-district, Pidie regency, Aceh. In this simple yet meaningful portrait, a woman is seen walking along a fragile-looking bamboo bridge while holding a small child in her arms. Behind the photo lies the story of resilience, love, and courage of a mother who is willing to face various obstacles to protect her child.

The bamboo bridge they crossed was not sturdy, just bamboo slats with ropes for support. Each step was taken with care, as one mistake could have fatal consequences. Yet the woman continued to walk steadily. Her gaze was calm even though the path before her lay fraught with danger.

This scene seems to symbolize the struggle of many women in remote areas who must face the harsh terrain of life for the sake of their families. No matter how heavy the burden, they continue to walk with confidence. In a mother's embrace, children feel safe even though the world around them is full of challenges.

The woman in this photo is a true reflection of the resilience of Indonesian women, life's fighters who never give up. They are able to combine the tenderness of love with the courage to face danger. This portrait is not just the story of a mother on a bamboo bridge, but the story of millions of resilient women who are pillars of their families and the future of the nation.

That's all I can share for this occasion. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you very much to those who have read this post. Thank you.
