In the PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography Round 134 held by @photofeed, I tried to share a photo of an island in the middle of the ocean seen from the peak of Geurutee. From the peak of Geurutee, one of the popular destinations in Aceh Jaya Regency, a stunning view stretches out that never seems to tire of pampering the eyes. Among the vast expanse of the blue and calm Indian Ocean, a small island appears to rise, standing proudly in the middle of the sea. The island looks covered in dense tropical forest with a white sandy coastline in some corners providing a beautiful natural contrast.

This island looks like a green jewel floating surrounded by waves that gently roll onto its shore. From a distance, the dense tree line creates a natural and pristine impression, as if untouched by human hands. A peaceful atmosphere is palpable, creating a harmony between sea, island, and sky that blends seamlessly.

The beauty of this island in the middle of the sea is a unique attraction for tourists stopping at Puncak Geurutee. This spot is often referred to as the balcony of the ocean because it offers a spectacular panorama of the open sea. Many stop for a moment along the roadside to enjoy the view, take photos, or simply soak in the silence of nature.

Beyond the panoramic view, Puncak Geurutee itself is renowned for its natural beauty of green hills, cool air, and calming atmosphere. From this height, visitors can experience how the vast sea and the Acehnese mainland merge into one majestic landscape that is hard to forget.
