PhotoFeed Contest - Black and White Photography Round 137 ~ Night Market and the Search for Glasses
Hello....
In the PhotoFeed - Black and White Photography Contest Round 137 hosted by @photofeed, I attempted to share a photo about a night market and the search for glasses. In a corner of the night market, neon lights illuminate shelves filled with neatly arranged glasses. Dozens to hundreds of frames, from classic to modern models, hang in rows on rotating stands. This atmosphere is clearly visible in the black and white photo I shared, capturing the moment when shoppers are busy choosing glasses at night.
Among the crowd, several people are carefully examining each pair of glasses. Two women in white hijabs are seriously considering their options, while a man's silhouette stands out in front of them, as if part of a sales conversation. His hand might be touching one of the frames, assessing its weight, or simply adjusting the lighting to examine the details.
Glasses at night markets are more than just sun protection; they often serve as lifestyle accessories, symbols of trends, or even personal identity. Therefore, buyers are usually unhurried. They hold them, try them on, and then compare whether the model suits their face and whether the price is right for their wallet.
This photo suggests more than just a transaction. There's an atmosphere of togetherness, simple conversation, and warm human interaction amidst the sparkling night sky. The contrasting lighting in the photo highlights the serious yet calm expressions of the buyers, emphasizing how a small detail like choosing a pair of glasses can be a thoughtful experience.
The night market, with all its bustling crowds, holds many simple stories. One of them is the story of people searching for a pair of glasses not only to see the world more clearly but also to present themselves to the world.
That's all my post for this occasion, I hope you guys like it, thank you.
