PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography Round 132 ~ The Charm of Blang Kejeren Rice Fields, Gayo Lues
Hello....
In the PhotoFeed - Landscape Photography Contest Round 132 hosted by @photofeed, I tried to share a photo of the charm of the rice fields of Blang Kejeren Gayo Lues, Aceh. Blang Kejeren, located in Gayo Lues Regency, Aceh, is known as one of the highland areas with stunning natural charm. In the photo I shared, you can see the expanse of green rice fields that are soothing to the eye combined with the hills and dense forests that surround it. This view not only shows the beauty of nature but also reflects the life of the Gayo Lues people who are still closely tied to agrarian traditions.
The rice fields of Blang Kejeren stretch out among green valleys. The terraced contours of the land make the rice fields in this area look artistic, especially when the rice begins to turn yellow before harvest. The cool, highland air adds to its appeal, making this area a refreshing natural destination for anyone who visits.
Besides serving as a primary food source, the rice fields in Gayo Lues also symbolize the perseverance and hard work of the local community. Local farmers cultivate the rice fields patiently, from planting to harvesting. The tradition of mutual cooperation in farming remains deeply rooted, a cultural value increasingly rare in urban areas.
The view of the verdant rice fields blending with rows of banana trees, small hills, and distant mountains creates a peaceful natural atmosphere. This atmosphere is clear evidence that Blang Kejeren is not only rich in Gayo culture but also has enormous natural tourism potential.
The beauty of the Blang Kejeren rice fields seems to remind us of the importance of preserving nature and maintaining agricultural traditions. For visitors, this place offers peace of mind, fresh air, and unforgettable panoramas—a little paradise in the Gayo region.
That's all I can share for now. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.
