El Reto #BeerSaturday - Semana 447 / Rosmi´s Favorite Beer

I'm here, in this peculiar community, thanks to Mr. @bulkathos, who goes around saying things about me, who am so innocent.

To be honest, I already knew about this wonderful community because I once studied the entire structure and functioning of its token and even presented it to a Hispanic community to raise awareness about it. Well, I'm here now because Mr. @bulkathos wants to know what kind of beer Rosmi drinks.

To answer that question and write a good post, I had to make time to go out somewhere and have a beer.

In recent months, I have agreed with a friend to go out at least once a month because we are teachers and need to relax a little. That's how I managed to meet up with my friend who has a husband with a car, which is very important for transportation since we are always looking for places to go and need the place to meet certain requirements in order for us to stay.

One of the first and most important requirements is that the cost of a case of beer is affordable.
The second is that they have bathrooms with running water.
The third is that it has a pleasant atmosphere and good music.

That's how, on a Friday night, we found a place called “Buena Vida” (that's what it says in Spanish). This place looked great because it had comfortable-looking seats, good music, a pleasant atmosphere, and some funny decorations, like the one that says ESE CULO MERECE TODO (that's what it says in Spanish).

Here we were at one of the tables you see in the photo, facing a TV, because yes, there was something like a kind of KARAOKE, and luckily the place was empty when we arrived, and with a couple of beers under our belts, things got exciting.

Anyway, at this point I can reveal, which is more than enough, that the beer I like best, the one I drink the most, is POLAR LIGHT, but the white one because the black one gives me a bad headache the next day and I don't like that effect.

Although I think it's also because these are the only two beers I've ever had, so I don't have as broad a palate for beer as Mr. @bulkathos or Mr. @morenow think I have.

Probably if I go to a fancier or more expensive place, I might find another type of beer, but I haven't really seen any of those craft beers that you guys often share in this community.

So, what I drink most is Polar Light white beer, which has a very peculiar name. When it's super cold, it looks like it's wearing a white dress because of the frost on the ice, so we call it something like “GIVE ME A WEDDING DRESS,” and we call Polar Black “GIVE ME A WIDOW.”

Well, I am really responsible, and you should know that if you are going to take me out for a couple of beers, you should bring some snacks to eat or nibble on, because I always, always have to have something to eat when I'm drinking, because that way I feel like the alcohol doesn't affect me.

Although, well, there I was with a friend singing some songs by Don Vicente Fernandez.

The place was really nice, although the bathrooms were a little scary because part of them was a bit dark, and this time we didn't notice that there was water, which was a little uncomfortable. But luckily, we had some hand sanitizer with us, so at least we could clean our hands. Of course, it was in the bathroom of a nightclub or club, or whatever you call it, so I had to take a photo in the mirror because I wanted to show you what I was wearing.

Well, what I can assure you is that on that day we recharged our batteries so we could tackle what was coming, which was the start of classes, and well, that's really stressful.

So, for me, going out for a few beers every now and then is a way to socialize with friends, have some fun, and then feel so relaxed that I can sleep well thanks to the effects of the beer. Oh, and well, it's possible that after about eight beers, I get more cheerful and maybe start singing without embarrassment.

Although, I must say that I know my limits in terms of how many beers I can drink when I go out, and in which social or family circles I can do certain things.

By the way, that day I drank dark and light beer to decide which one I liked best, and well, Mr. @bulkathos owes me a bowl of soup, because I woke up with a terrible headache and feeling very dizzy.
