Splinterlands Art Contest Week 377-Nyasha Mbalika – Epic Battle Comic

18.gif

Young, slim, narrow at the shoulders, and quick on her feet. Everything an ulund typically isn't.

Nyasha wields her bow on the run. She fires an arrow to the chest, arrow to the head, always moving for the kill shot that changes the fight.

When Beku Janda charges with his sister, Nyasha covers them, sending a volley that forces enemies back. Then she's moving again, sending more arrows downrange to pull the heat off the siblings.

Palifala's magic wrecks the land. Ground heaves and lines buckle. Nyasha keeps it simple: shoot, move, shoot, move.

For now, the ulund hold.

Card lore

Hi Hive friends!

today again i sharing a new post. I created this one using AI, and turned it into a short video comic. I made the entire project using Elon Musk’s GROK AI Imagine, and it was a lot of fun to work with.

Nyasha Mbalika is not the kind of warrior people expect when they think of raw power. She is young, slim, and light on her feet—everything an Ulund warrior is usually not. But what she lacks in brute strength, she makes up for with speed, precision, and deadly focus. In the chaos of battle, Nyasha does not stand still. She moves, shoots, moves again, and never gives her enemies a clean moment to strike back.

In this epic battle comic inspired by Splinterlands, Nyasha is shown fighting across multiple environments, each one testing her skills in a different way. From dense jungles to open battlefields, from mountain cliffs to shallow waters, she adapts instantly. Her bow is always in motion, her arrows flying with purpose—one to the chest, one to the head, always aiming for the shot that changes the fight.

When enemies charge in numbers, Nyasha does not panic. She controls the flow of battle by keeping pressure on the enemy front line. Against skeleton warriors, goblins, demons, and other Splinterlands-style foes, she uses distance as her weapon. Each arrow forces enemies to slow down, break formation, or retreat. In scenes where fire mages burn the land and magic tears the ground apart, Nyasha keeps it simple: shoot, move, shoot, move.

One of the most powerful moments in this comic is when Nyasha supports her allies. As Beku Janda charges forward with his sister, Nyasha covers them from afar, sending volleys of arrows that push enemies back and create space. She never steals the spotlight, but without her, the line would break. That balance between teamwork and individual skill is what makes her such a strong Splinterlands character.

This comic is designed with a cinematic, movie-like feeling in mind. Each panel focuses on motion, action, and environment, making it perfect for GIFs or short video sequences. The backgrounds change constantly-forest, desert, ice, water, sky-showing how Nyasha thrives no matter where the battle takes her. Every scene connects to the next, creating a flowing story instead of isolated images.

Creating art with Nyasha Mbalika is especially fun because her character fits perfectly into dynamic storytelling. She is not flashy, but she is effective. Not loud, but unforgettable. This is why she works so well for comic-style art and animation.

Through this Epic Battle Comic, I wanted to show Nyasha not just as a Splinterlands card, but as a living character-one who survives through skill, awareness, and relentless movement. For me, this artwork is a tribute to why Splinterlands characters are so inspiring, both in gameplay and in art.

Thank you for taking the time to view my entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest. I hope you enjoy Nyasha Mbalika’s story as much as I enjoyed bringing it to life.

If you enjoy it, please leave a comment and show some support-
it really motivates me. I’ve been away for a while because of my exams, but now that they’re over, I’ll be sharing more of my creations with you all.

I love making comics and fun AI-based artwork, and today I’m entering the Splinterlands Art Contest - Week 377.

I really enjoy this contest and have missed being part of it. I’m planning to make short videos using Splinterlands art cards as well.

I’ve always loved Splinterlands card battles, and sometimes I just play the game because it makes me happy. The characters in Splinterlands are some of my favorites. Next time, I’ll also share a post about my gameplay.

Hope you’re all doing well — stay awesome everyone!
