Skyspire Yak: The Guardian of Thunderhorn Valley-visual comic with AI-Splinterlands Art (Week 346)
The yaks of the Skyspire Mountains have thick, insulated fur that is well suited for the frigid temperatures of the area's slopes and peaks. The bony plate on their forehead serves as both armor against predators and a blunt weapon for defending the herd.
It is said that the best defense is a good offense, and the yaks of the Skyspire Mountains certainly lend credence to this adage. They are apt to lower their heads and charge at the first sign of danger—whether it be a fearsome pack of predators or a wandering minstrel armed with a hardwood lute.
