My entry for the Phone Photography Contest - 75

Hello, dear friends, good afternoon, wherever you are...

I'm back here to join in the favorites contest hosted by @untilwelearn. In this entry, I have four beautiful flowers growing in the wild. Even though they live in the wild without human intervention, these four flowers possess beauty comparable to cultivated flowers.

First, let's look at a blooming lantana flower. A favorite of butterflies and other insects in the wild. It's a bright flower with a pungent aroma. The scent has a bittersweet, almost herbal-like aroma. While it might be unpleasant to us, for insects, it's a coveted scent, thanks to its abundant nectar.

Now, let's look at the charm of the mini starfruit flower. This is a favorite of bees. Bees come and go, but unfortunately, I haven't managed to capture any of them. As for its aroma, this flower has a sweet and fresh scent. That's the main reason bees favor this flower, they love the sweet nectar.

Well, these purple twins are no less interesting. They're popping pods. While I was photographing these flowers, the most frequent visitors were mosquitoes. I don't know if they were genuinely attracted to the flower or if they were just is eyeing me🤣

Lastly, let's take a look at the charm of the King of Bitters. This super tiny flower rarely gets any attention. I even see insects passing by it. Perhaps its nectar isn't very tasty, so they just pass by.

All images were taken using a realme 7 Pro cellphone.
