🌷1️⃣ Belief in omens exists all over the world. While some are common across cultures, such as black cats or shooting stars, others are more personal. Have you ever experienced something that felt like a sign?

Omens always herald an upcoming event, good or bad. In my country, there are many beliefs about these omens, mainly those announced by birds of ill omen such as Chaures, owls that make a frightening sound. When I was a child and heard my mother and grandmother talk about the sign given by this bird, I was filled with fear because, according to the stories, when this bird sings near an area, someone dies, and, coincidentally or not, this happens. That's why I was afraid when I heard them singing at night. Nowadays, the superstition of believing in these animals is of little importance to me, but there is one sign that always announces a visit and occurs when a piece of cutlery falls. It's funny because when a teaspoon falls, a woman arrives, and if it's a fork, a man arrives. I do keep this in mind because the sign of the visit comes true that day. At first, I was surprised by this coincidence. I don't know how, but it comes true. Sometimes I joke a little and say out loud that I hope that visitor brings me money😅. One sign that stood out to me was when my dog came to say goodbye to me before he died. That morning, he knocked on my door several times. I was fast asleep, and it was normal for me to hear him barking at my door every morning. That day, he did something different than barking. My dog knocked on my door three times. For a moment, I thought it was a person. I got up quickly, and it was my dog. I was a little scared. When he saw me, he jumped with excitement. He was as friendly as ever, and suddenly he clung to me with his paws and didn't want to let go. I didn't understand his reaction, and it hurt me. That afternoon, he suddenly became very ill, and that night he passed away. The sign my dog gave me that day was a great lesson for me. It hurt me a lot that I couldn't understand his call. I felt guilty. I loved him like a son.Animals also give us signs before they leave us. My dog was my companion and my first child, and his departure was an unforgettable sign for me.
