Success Is Personal, Not Universal
In life success has diverse meanings for different people. Some sees it as gaining wealth, on the other hand some people sees it as achieving happiness. Personally, I think of success as a good combination of finance and genuine happiness. Being successful does not mean only securing financial stability but also means to find joy in our journey of life and that includes the contribution to the well-being of our loved ones. To achieve success a person will require some qualities and one of them is discipline, the second is consistency and the third is determination.
Our priority should be what is important to us, not what is important to the world. Our society thinks that if people have a reputed job or a house or if they make a family then they have reached success. I feel that is necessarily not true at all. The people around the world always prefers to measure success as business, assets or degrees, but I would say forget the world. Because success is defined by the individual and they decides their own success, they only has the right to decide what is success to them. Whether it is about getting a degree or it can be travelling around the world, or it could be about reading as many books as possible, or simply getting up every day and doing whatever you like or helping others. The main point is that you get to decide the definition of success, it is only up to you and no one else.
I believe that reaching any goal is a success, it doesn't matter how big or how small it is. People should never be able to control the definition of others success, nor measure the rate of success or failure. We are all living our own life, just to live OUR own lives. Every person has their very own map to their own journey, so it is better to not compare yourself to another person's life. Also, accept the fact that the circumstances and opportunities will never be the same for any two people. We all should just focus and travel on our own map and give our best.
To me being successful is a day where I can experience a free time without any obligation or limitation, I want to be free both physically and mentally. Where I accept that not everything is meant for me, be happy for genuine. I really hope this writing of mine is inspiring or it can be helpful to someone.

I absolutely agree with you, reaching one's goal becomes their success. But sometimes, it becomes a problem defining what our goals are, so much so that we end up pursuing endless goals. I love how you were able to identify that finance and wealth is not all it takes to become successful, but also genuine happiness. That you so much, it was nice reading through your post
Thank you for your kind words. I agree! clear goals matter as much as achieving them.
