Qurator's Mischievous Mondays | The Text Message I Wish I Never Sent

MM.png

Welcome to Qurator's Mischievous Mondays!

This will be a weekly competition that we will be hosting every Monday. We want to see a little more engagement and fun when it comes to some of our competitions so this will be a simpler and shorter competition. Easy to enter, but maybe not so easy to win. ;) This competition will be similar to the Monday Missions we had a long time ago, but instead of writing posts to enter we will now consider only the comments and answers on this blog as your entry to win.

Why Mischievous?

We all could use a little fun in our lives. We would even say that we deserve it, let loose a little and have a go at making everyone laugh or think a little, even if it is a little over the top or pure silliness. Go all out and let your creative juices flow.

There's a tons of text messages I wished I didn't sent (or to the wrong recipient) is damn a lot 😅 some are funny, some not so. So, here we go.

  1. "Get ur beeouch the fnck out now, you girlfriend is on her way home" instead of sending to my buddy, I have sent to his girlfriend. Because in the address book, she's Jason's girlfriend. And Jason has two phones, I named them after Jason Normal and Jason Xtra. Pardon the Nokia 8250 keypad era.
  2. "Get the HR guy set the paper for you, I did mine and you should do the same." And the next thing happen is, the person I tried to help, show my message ot the HR manager.
  3. Instead of "let's meet up and talk this out", I choose to delete it and change to "let's end this". Could have break up a relationship more "professionally". Many years later, her mom told my mom it was a huge misunderstanding. The guy is actually a relative that recently connected back with them.

Sorry if these didn't bring any laughter to you, but it's a reminder for me to be extra careful when texting or even sexting. We just won't know how the recipient would react or lack of it, or worse, to the wrong recipient.

I was standing in front of the office door and it was closed. It had happened to me frequently on other occasions. I was tired of this and I sent a message that was intended for my boss, but it didn't happen, I sent it by mistake to the secretary, for whom should open the door...
"Standing in front of the office door, along with some patients who are already impatient with the wait, is really not very encouraging for me. I always arrive early to work, it is only fair that I find the door open, and not have to wait for them to open half an hour later.
If I can arrive early, why don't others keep their work schedule? “I hope they take action on the matter.”
After realizing what I did, I couldn't do anything about it. The secretary was a good worker, except now she was engaging in this bad behavior of being late. It could have been solved in another way, but my annoyance at seeing the door closed again for the fourth or fifth time made me angry. Instead of reasoning, my anger acted.

Congratulations, fellow hivers.

This is my Entry for this Mischievous Monday Challenge.
"THE TEXT MESSAGE I WISH I NEVER SENT" was saying "I love you" to my crush in secondary school. Haha, I still remember those days! It was so awkward and embarrassing whenever we saw each other at school. Knowing I didn't get a response was cringed enough that he doesn't feel the way I fall for him. And every time we crossed paths, my face would turn red from blushing. How pathetic I was with that whole puppy love thing! 🤩 🤣 And now? I have no updates about him. 😂

Years ago, back in 2006, I was with my boss at the time looking for a location for a new branch of the company. I felt a little uncomfortable because he seemed very serious. So, I decided to text a coworker and friend, “I'm with my boss and he's in a bad mood.” I was surprised he didn't reply, but suddenly my boss received a message, read it, and looked at me in amazement. I was even more surprised because I didn't understand why he was looking at me like that. Suddenly he said, “Is this your number? Did you send me this message?” When I was about to say “no,” I realized I had sent it to him instead of my friend. I wanted the ground to swallow me up. My boss told me it was grounds for dismissal, but he let it go. He didn't fire me, but I spent several days feeling embarrassed.

hahaha oh no! You've sent a message in a wrong number and that number owns by your boss. An embarrassing moment too, just like me. hehe
