Hello creatives,

I am happy to announce the winners for the latest run of the Sketch Quest drawing contest. We received seven inspiring and beautiful entries. Thank you to everyone who participated. Your ability to capture moments around you and making them inspirational is what makes this contest so special.

Based on our criteria: Creativity (40%), Inspiration Story (30%), and Effort (30%) here are the top three winners who will be receiving prizes

The Top Three Entries

1st Place: @loverdoll's Diamond Hand Elf

Creativity (40%) Combining the crypto slang diamond hands with a whimsical elf figure is creative and unique. The elf holding a literal diamond is a funny and intelligent spin on the concept.

Inspiration Story (30%) The use of the diamond hands idea, the perked ears listening to the hype, and the HODLing stance make the sketch a direct commentary on the crypto world.

Effort (30%) The sketch shows effort in creating a fully realized character. The use of mixed line work and color to create a charming, slightly rough character demonstrates commitment to the concept.

2nd Place: @kaigo's Pumpkin & Bone

Creativity (40%) Taking two generic Halloween decors and transforming them into tired buddies is quite original. The choice to give them a weary personality makes the sketch fun and memorable.

Inspiration Story (30%) Seeing something random online and turning it into art is a nice inspiration story. The tired eyes provides the necessary deep connection to the inspiration.

Effort (30%) The lines are quick and rough, which contributes to the charm. The effort is shown in the expressive faces and body language.

3rd Place: @tinster's Family and Food

Creativity (40%) Capturing the chaotic energy of eating out with family is a great choice for the theme. The use of bold colors to amplify the lively vibe is a very creative stylistic decision.

Inspiration Story (30%) The story is clear and straight forward. It names the subjects and little details, and explains the challenge and eventual success of mixing warm and cool colors to make the scene pop.

Effort (30%) Good effort in the complex composition that involves food items, and multiple details. Getting everyone's "vibe right" and working through the color doubts demonstrates clear dedication to the finished piece.
