Here is another contest to get you excited. We are running a special 14-day edition of SketchQuest that connects directly with the LET US DRAW BUGS by @artofkylin For those who have been drawing bugs since Feb 1st for the #bugart tag, it is time to take one of those drawings to the next level.

The theme for this two-week quest is Evolve a Bug.

To qualify for this SketchQuest, you must have participated in @artofkylin's LET US DRAW BUGS challenge first. You need to take a bug you have already drawn and posted for her contest between Feb 1st and 14, and "evolve" it into something bigger, stronger, or more fantastical. Think of it like your bug is leveling up

How to Enter:

1. Choose a bug you already drew for the #bugart challenge of Kylin (from Feb 1st to 14).
2. Sketch the "Evolved" version of your own bug drawing.
3. Post your evolution in the Draw a Day community. Deadline is 14 days from today.
4. Add a short caption (1–2 sentences) about how your bug evolved.
5. Use the hashtag #SketchQuest #bugart
6. Repost this contest announcement.

Rules:

1. One entry per person.
2. Must be an evolution of your own #bugart entry.
3. Original work only (no tracing or AI art).
4. Submit digital files (PNG/JPEG) or clear photos of traditional art.
5. All ages, all skills—doodles to masterpieces welcome.

2nd Place: 2 Hive
3rd Place: 1 Hive

I’ll judge based on:
Creativity(40%): How unique is your take?
Inspiration Story (30%): Does your caption bring it to life?
Effort(30%): Show your passion and skill
