Materials Used.

prepared string hoppers 15.
1/2 Cup of hot water.
Sugar 200g.
1 1/2 Cup of coconut milk.
1 Teaspoon of Ground cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom.
4 Tablespoon of Fried rice flour.

The cooking process as follows.

Now let’s get ready to prepare this dish. First, take the pre-cooked string hoppers and break them into small pieces as shown below.

Now take a pan and place it on the stove. Once it is heated, add a small amount of sugar and let it caramelize. After it turns into caramel, add a little hot water and stir until it blends well. Then, add the remaining sugar and allow it to caramelize again. Once done, add the coconut milk and mix everything well.

Now add the broken string hoppers, a little rice flour, ground cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom to the pan, and mix everything thoroughly. Continue mixing until it forms a thick, sticky mixture like a talapa (traditional sweet). Once it thickens properly, transfer it onto a tray.

Now, once it has cooled, cut it into pieces.
