Good health, Good choice,Good living #LOH 283

Hello #ladies
Here is another wonderful week to share our thoughts and experiences.
This weeks contest focuses on our health and how we can take care of it.

For me, one of my goals for the year has been to eat healthy and stay healthy. Good health cut accros all areas of our life , spiritually, physically, emotionally and otherwise, therefore Staying healthy should be an intentional decision made by everyone that wants to live healthy because when sickness strikes its not always a nice scenario to behold.

Naturally, God has blessed me with a body that doesn't fall sick easily, and because of that, taking medication is something i really struggle with. The sight of medication makes me feel so irritated, and that alone is a reminder to stay away from some certain food and drinks that are not healthy.
Staying healthy is one aspect of life i pay attention to as well as God helps me and keeps me away from sickness.

I have a little routine that keeps my health in check, and this has helped me for some time now.
The checks on my spiritual health are conscious efforts at the place of study and prayer.
The checks of my physical and emotional health are balancing and trying to stay at peace with people around me.
The checks on my health and body are the little routine, to exercise, eat good food, and have a good rest while maintaining a healthy living.

One of the decisions that has helped me so far is choosing to stay away from refined food and carbonated food as well as roadside foods, because i had understood some years back that my body cannot cope with such food.
Honestly, it hasn't been easy because I have had to turn down so many cravings, though I am happy with the progress I am making just to stay healthy.

In order for me to stay healthy, i noticed that i have to channel more energy and efforts to prepare my own meals. Though it's not easy to do all of that myself, I am happy for the positive changes this has brought into my life.

I have a routine of taking warm water early in the morning and doing little exercise, and this has helped me a lot, especially as a nursing mother.
I also make sure that i include fruits and vegetables daily in between my meals. i eat real food and no junk at all.

Most importantly, when it comes to rest, i maintain a sleep routine that my body needs to function well.
This little routine over the years has kept my health on check and focuses my mind in maintaining good health as God is helping me.
