Hive Top Chef: Spinach Wrap With Shrimp Salad 🌯

Hi bloggers, how are you? What are you cooking today? Today I'm going to share a recipe for Hive Top Chef! : $5 Budget Meal by @qurator as my entry in this week's contest. The main dish this time is spinach tortillas made from spinach, of course gluten-free, filled with delicious shrimp salad. You can also substitute the shrimp with chicken, eggs, or any protein you like. Alright, let's get started:

Ingredients:

Spinach Tortillas:

  • 100 grams of spinach leaves
  • 2 eggs

Shrimp Salad:

  • 150 grams of shrimp
  • 3 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 onion
  • mayonnaise
  • tomato sauce/chili sauce
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • lemon juice

Steps:

Spinach Tortillas:

  • Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly, then place them into a blender

  • Add 2 eggs and a pinch of salt

  • Blend until smooth and mixed

  • Put them to a bowl

  • Heat a pan and add a little oil/butter, preferably using a non-stick pan

  • Pour 1/3 of the batter into the pan

  • Cook over low heat until the batter does not stick to the pan, then flip it over

  • Continue until the batter is used up

Shrimp Salad:

  • Chop the onion and sauté until fragrant in a pan heated with a little oil.

  • Add the cleaned and chopped shrimp to the pan and cook until they change color.

  • Add a pinch of salt and black pepper, then cook briefly.

  • Chop the lettuce and tomatoes.

  • Add them to the mixture of mayonnaise and chili sauce.

  • Add the sautéed shrimp and onion.

  • Add a little lemon juice and then mix them

Serving:

Put the spinach tortilla and add the shrimp salad on a plate then wrap gently so it doesn't tear. The spinach wrap with shrimp salad is ready to serve. 🌯
