SMAP 285:. Feathered Friends on Market Day

That day was my lucky day. On certain days of the week, I normally see these ducks, but I notice that once that day passes, I don’t see them again. Last month, my sister was mesmerized by their beauty, and I forgot to take a picture of them for the Feathered Friends contest. Before mentioning that, she talked about her visit to Ekiti State, and she could not hold her excitement when she saw a goat jumping. She said people were surprised that she had never experienced such a thing.

But on this day, it was market day, and I saw these beautiful ducks beside a drying pool of water. I wondered how they would survive in such an environment, not until I remembered that ducks can survive in both waterlogged and non-waterlogged environments. These guys are really cute, and I wish there were ponds to keep them—I know they would definitely love it. Hopefully, if I get some money, I might get some for myself.
