The dove-taming treat is very appropriate for this turtledove. These birds are very familiar in my area. They forage on sandy ground. I found one right away, as in the picture I've shown.
When the turtledove was only a few meters away, it flew away, avoiding humans. However, we couldn't easily catch it.
