"The Beauty and Peace of Having a Garden". #244

Are you one of those who prefers a house with or without a garden? Do you like plants? What do you do to take care of them? So let's dive in.

Honestly, I love a house with a garden. Because a garden brings life to a house and it makes the house more beautiful and gives fresh air. A house without a garden looks plain, but with a garden, we will see how the beauty of a house will come out. If we have a house and it's not beautiful but we have a beautiful garden, the garden alone has made the house beautiful. A house with a garden will make the house more lively and stand out among the houses that don't have a garden.

A garden adds colour to a house. Whether it's just a few flowers in pots or a big space full of green plants(garden), it always makes a difference. There's this feeling of waking up in the morning and seeing blooming flowers in your garden inside your compound — it always makes us feel alive and happy.

Do I like plants?

Yes, I love plants. Plants always make our house look beautiful and welcoming. If we have plants and someone, like a friend, comes to greet us and they see the plants in our compound, we will see how they will be mesmerized by the plants. For example, in my hometown, we have plants that surround our compound because we have a garden where we cultivate our plants. And because of the plants we have, it always brings out the beauty of our house and makes it look different. I love the green colour of plants because it feels more peaceful. That's why we will see people enjoying sitting in gardens, or even parks, because it brings the feeling of peace, calmness, and comfort. Whenever someone is angry and they have a garden in their house, they can just sit there and they will see the difference, because it will make the person's body calm and they will feel refreshed. I love it when a breeze is blowing the plants because it brings out the smell of the plants.

What do I do to take care of plants?

To me, taking care of plants is not hard at all because if I have plants, I will make sure my plants are well taken care of. And here's what I will do:

(1) Water the plants: We all know that plants need water to live, so I will water them morning and evening because watering plants in the afternoon is not good. When I was still in my hometown, we always watered them morning and evening. And while watering them, I won't have to pour too much water on the plants because too much water is not good for plants.

(2) They need sunlight: We know that plants need sunlight. That's how they grow. So I will make sure they are in a place where they can get enough light, because that's exactly what we did at home.

(3) Trimming the leaves: Whenever I see that the plants are growing out of shape or one is longer than the rest, I will trim them because trimming plants makes them grow well and allows air and sunlight to reach all parts.

In conclusion, I love houses with gardens. Even if we don't have land, we can still find a small space in our compound to plant. Even if there's no space in our house, we can find a container, any pot we are no longer using, or buckets to plant. All we have to do is water them daily in the morning and evening. It doesn't take time; we just need to spare 5–10 minutes daily to water them morning and evening.

If I have my own personal house, I will definitely have a garden where I will plant all different types of flowers. Because having plants, like I said earlier, brings out the beauty of a house and also makes our home feel more alive.
