Choosing the Future Over the Past. #277

Honestly, if I had the opportunity to travel through time, I would choose to go to the future. My reason is simple: I am very curious about what my life will turn out to be. Sometimes, whenever I sit down, I imagine what I will become in future, and the kind of person I will grow into. Being able to see my future would answer all my unanswered questions.

I would love to know what my future awaits: will all the hard work I am putting into my studies pay off? Will I achieve the goals I have set for myself? As a student, there are moments of fear and doubt. So, if I could travel to the future, I would love to see whether everything will turn out well for me or not. Not because I want to relent or stop trying, but because I just need reassurance that my efforts are not in vain.

Another reason I would love to travel to the future is to see the kind of person I will become. Just like what my elder brother always tells me, he says success is not only about money, but also about character. He says our character matters a lot. If we have good character, it can take us to places we never even dreamed of. So, I want to know if I will grow into a responsible, kind, and better person. I want to make my family, especially my siblings, proud. I don’t want their efforts to be in vain. I also want to know if I will be happy with the choices I made later in the future. Sometimes, we make drastic decisions without knowing how they will affect us in the future. So, seeing the future would help me understand the consequences of my actions I will make now.

I would also love to see how the world itself will change. As we all know, technology is developing everydayq1ů1q, and life keeps changing every day. It would be interesting to witness how people will live, communicate, and work in the future. Will things be easier in the future? Will society be better in the future? Or will our government change their bad behaviour in the future? Seeing the future would open my eyes to what lies ahead for me.

However, I also think traveling to the future might teach me something important: that the present truly matters. If I see a good future for myself, it will encourage me to work even harder. If I see challenges ahead, it will prepare me to be strong ahead.

In conclusion, I would choose the future over the past because I am more concerned about what is ahead of me than what has already happened. The past is gone and already written, but the future is yet to happen. Like people always say, we don’t know what awaits us in the future. Yes, I know that time travel is not possible because I have never heard of it happening before, but I believe that with my hard work and determination, I can create the kind of future I want for myself.
