Believe it or not : Ladies of Hive Week 246

Week 246 questions are really interesting ones and I chose to write on the question one.

Belief in omens are interesting thing in the world, especially in Africa.
I have heard lots of them and I hardly believe in the bad omens.
I know it is funny how I believe in the good ones and disagree with the bad ones, because an omen says "what you believe is what works for you".
So, this particular one out ruled all the bad omens.

Of the good omens I keep believing and hoping for it's fulfillment, there is only one that worked perfectly well for me.
Like it's a first hand experience not a story from someone else.

This made me so happy and more positive with the good omens.

Have you heard about "Itchy hands?".

Itchy hands is interpreted as a sign of incoming money.

And "seeing a millipede craw to ones doorstep in the morning?"
This is also interpreted as incoming money.

I have to experienced this two several times and would gently whisper "Amen" but never experienced something extraordinary.

Until one day when I woke up and quickly stepped out to get something, I saw a millipede crawling away, I gently directed it outside and went inside to continue what I was doing, then my hands started itching me seriously.

I rushed inside the kitchen and washed my hands, it didn't stop, I applied some oil cream on my hands, it reduced but was still itchy.

I continued with what I was doing and immediately I heard my phone beep.

Then, I went to check because I was expecting a call from a client.
It wasn't a call but a message, I opened it and was surprised to see a cash transfer to my account from my cousin.

Wow, I quickly called him to show appreciation on dropping the call I got another alert, it was then I recalled my encounter with the millepede and my itchy hands.

I smiled.....this is great.
