Sunny Turning to Cloudy Then Rainy Day / PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography - Round 140
Greetings,
How are you doing great people on Hive?
I hope that you are doing well.
Have you noticed the change of season?
The climate has shown us in west Africa a beautiful set of temperature and cool wind since the start of the weekend.
It is not a surprise to all the people living near the Ocean that the end of summer announces the arrival of the rains.
The potential to get a rain three days consecutively is low considering the power of the wind coming from the Ocean that carries the clouds far from the Ocean side.
I was sure that the sunny Saturday will validate the perfect weather on Sunday. However Thursday and Friday were heavy with the rain water dropping massively on the ground for hours without any pause.
The Sunday started with a good sun rise illuminating the sky and offering us a magnificent view of the land previous in the dark of the clouds.
I was not ready for the change in the weather configuration on the Ocean side of the city. After I arrive at the Beach I really thought that the sun has won the battle against the clouds.
At first, the weather was great with the blue sky and greenish water of the Ocean.
I parked my car and rush to get closer to the beach. As I was walking toward the wave, I could see that many people came out to enjoy the same weather.

Soccer players, family with dogs and walkers were happy to stand on this side of town breathing fresh air.

I was absent of the beach for many days. It was a great moment to reconnect with nature. The sounds of the waves and the heat of the sun were restoring element I could not stay away from too long.
The landscape changing due to the interaction between the Ocean the land and the winds is a place of unmatched beauty.

I went as far as I could before the clouds generated from the Ocean cover the sky above town. I was speechless when I saw the massive formation of clouds coming Ocean.
It was like a machine boiling the Ocean water to create billions of water droplets than will cover an entire city in less than one hour.
It became clear that the sun will not win this battle against water.
The rain and the cold wind almost paralyzed my body as I was walking back to the parking.
It was a fun experience. I could have not anticipated this outcome but I would prefer stay dry and protect the equipment.

I hope to be back to the beach next week.
