Roof Top City View - PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography Round 117

Peace,

How are you doing, good friends on Hive?

It is a nice start to the week. The weather has been easy these last four days.
My view from this situation is that people in the city should take advantage of this sunny days before the return of the dark clouds of the rainy season.

Photo feed challenge on the cityscape provide so much diversity that I will be on the lookout to see more photos submitted in the contest.

You can see that the houses on the ground are not all simple household build in brics and wooden rooftop. There are also three level stores building that has risen for the past five years.

The city is changing may be slower in this part of the city compared to the luxurious establishment on the Ocean Side.

I would love to see many investors return to their home country and build their local business in a region where the addition of value will provide more benefit to the country men and women.

This mode of construction was in practice long before I was born, and I could not understand why the official did not find a solution in the rainy season to reduce the flood in this structure.

The city has started his battle against the flood for many decades now. It was almost impossible to win this fight two blocks aways because of the ground rejecting water when the heavy rains begin.

I could not believe it, so I went and saw the place been abandoned when the water starts to flow on the ground already full. It creates too many problems for the children still learning at school, while they have to move elsewhere to avoid the danger of living in water for three months.

It was at some point a challenge for the authority to relocate these victims of climate crisis and urban bad management. All the surface at around 15km from the Ocean was supposed to stay inhabited to allow water to be collected in natural them move to other location along the coastline or directly in to the lagoon.

It was practically impossible to succeed to protect the household of most resident in this area due to the geographical location of the city inside a wetland.
The city area occupancy officers did a bad judgment when they gave permit to build houses in this special place, so the place where water from the rain should be stored does not exist. Therefore, it is way more expensive to drag artificially all the volume to the Ocean.

Thank you for considering these photos in the current edition of Cityscape contest.
