WHEN I NEED MOTIVATION
At some point in life, we all need motivation to carry out a task or to keep going in what we are doing, because there are days when the energy to do things will be low, goals will appear distant and less important, and the motivation to continue will seem to fade. It is important to note that this is a normal experience and common to everyone.
Personally, what I do in such moments are:
🖊️ I remind myself of my goals and why I started, I encourage myself that I must finish what I began, and thinking about the bigger picture helps me overcome temporary feelings of tiredness, doubt, or laziness.
🖊️ As a music lover, I listen to uplifting songs and words of inspiration, since the sound of good music has a way of lifting my spirit and calming my soul.
🖊️ I step out for a stroll, especially in the evening, and clear my mind as if nothing is disturbing me, which gives me fresh strength and helps me focus again.
🖊️ I imagine how it will feel and how happy I will be once the task is completed, and this picture of accomplishment often gives me the strength to push forward.
🖊️ If the task is heavy or overwhelming, I break it into smaller units, set a time frame, and ensure that I complete one part within the stipulated period, always making sure that I accomplish it.
🖊️ I rely on the power of positive affirmations, I pray, meditate, and speak positively about what I am doing, and I develop a positive mindset toward it.
Doing these gives me the motivation I need, and I have also learned that motivation is not something that comes once and stays forever, it is something we must nurture daily and our mind must be trained to motivate ourselves. By consistently applying these habits, I am able to maintain focus, overcome challenges, and grow stronger mentally and emotionally. Motivation, I have realized, is a practice, a mindset, and a daily choice that allows me to achieve my goals and become the best version of myself.
