At the beach

I see a lady sitting by the beach, reading peacefully.

It feels like she’s taking some time out to enjoy her weekend after a long and stressful week at work. I imagine she might be a teacher or maybe a banker 🤣.

Take Doris for instance, she had a rough start to the week. On Monday, she was already exhausted trying to clear the backlog of work she had left over the weekend. Just when she was almost done, her branch manager walked in with yet another pile of tasks. From Tuesday through Friday, Doris barely had time for herself, working late into the night.

So, by Saturday, she decided enough was enough. She headed to the beach to relax, read, and calm her mind.
