Proudest Moment of my life

Ever since I was little, I've been what you would call a high-achieving kid. I did well in school, I did well in sports, and I did well in my community.I was always the first one to class, and the last one to leave the field. I was th

e kid that all my friends' parents compared their children to.I was the kid with a room full of trophies and awards. In my mind, the worst possible thing I could do was disappoint the people around me.In elementary school, I was involved in every club imaginable. I was in the band, played the drums, sang bass for chorus, was in the drama and music club, served as president of the student council, played travel soccer, was involved in every possible activity, and excelled in all of them.

As always, my teachers and coaches loved me, and my parents supported me. I loved being the child everyone talked about.I loved succeeding and I loved making people proud.

As I entered high school, the pressure to succeed and live up to my parents' expectations increased. I joined clubs that my parents approved of, took classes that would look good on my transcript, and studied 24/7 to maintain good results.Seeing the people around me happy and proud of me was a good feeling. I stayed up all night just so I could study and get good grades that would make my family and teachers proud.First year, I never got more than four hours of sleep a night. I was a zombie just going through the motions of life.As I tried to juggle the pressure of entering a university and had the opportunity to play for Barcelona Football Academy, I had to focus on my studies because I didn't want my first-year grades to drop. Even when all hope seemed lost, I never intended to quit. Most recently, I ruptured my knee. I felt broken, began to doubt myself, and my gifts.

But most times, when life puts stumbling blocks on your path to glory, it means you are very close to the breakthrough, and that has been my driving force ever since.

I hope do enjoy part of my life as I , battle with life over my success, that even when I fall no one would pick you up only you and yourself, for the crowds around would just follow you to give you the boos and the cheers.

You're doing well, keep it up. Weldon. But I think that you should drop somethings, and stay focused on one of two goals for now, to easy your stress. How about that. Thank for sharing.

Thank you @norbert10 for your entry. I am not sure though which is your actual proudest moment as you mention quite a lot of achievements, So I ask you, which one are you most proud of, where you stayed true to your beliefs.

Like I said on my blog my proudest moment is not giving up and looking at what life has given at me as a stumbling block and still standing tall knowing that am almost at the end
