Wow, I love my house so much, filled with plants such as fruits and veggies. I will give you a short story about my mom and the impact she had made before she died last year. She is a true farmer who tries everything possible to help her plants grow.

When she started, it was painful and stressful because I'm always the one she loves sending to run errands to get the plants. I'm talking about veggies, from spinach in different species to water-leaf, bitter-leaf, pumpkin leaf, okra, ginger, turmeric, cocoyam, yam, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, yams, and even a native leaf named Utazi Leaf that's very bitter. These are the things she constantly plants around our house, and it blossoms because the soil is fertile.

She even planted oranges, lemons, limes, guavas, coconuts, papayas, and soursop. These are the fruits that are in the house until this very moment as I write this to you.
We survived with these things, at first it looked like a lot of work but you see in my country, whenever it stops raining most of these veggies become very expensive to purchase due to the high demand and low supply.

With the help of what my mom has planted before her demise, we don't buy everything at the market anymore; instead, we come outside, pick what we need, and cook with it and it's always fresh.

HOW DO WE MAKE IT SURVIVE?

By constantly watering the veggies, not the fruits, because they are grown now (fruits). To the point, people started coming to ask for veggies, and we will help out, and till this very moment, we don't buy veggies outside except when needed. So why will I not have a farm in my house, given the legacy my mom left behind for us before she died, and its has keep enriching us with a balanced diet.

HOW DO I SUSTAIN IT?

By mixing the waste from the chickens' anus with water and spraying it morning and evening? Putting yams in bags also helps a lot. That was one of my best memories on the farm.
