As I left the building with my husband to look for provisions for our home, we passed near a tree. It was a simple moment, part of the routine, nothing out of the ordinary.

But the light turned it into something else.

On the ground, I noticed our shadows reflected clearly, walking side by side. Along with them, the shadow of the tree stretched across the path, as if joining us in that brief journey.

I paused for a second to observe it.

There was something meaningful in that combination—the two of us moving forward, accompanied by the silent presence of the tree. Three shadows sharing the same space, shaped by the same light.

It made me think about how even the most everyday moments can become special when we pay attention.

The shadows blended naturally, without effort, creating a simple but beautiful composition. A reminder that we are always connected to our surroundings, even in ways we don’t always notice.

I couldn’t let that moment pass unnoticed.

Al salir del edificio con mi esposo en busca de provisiones para la casa, pasamos cerca de un árbol. Era un momento simple, parte de la rutina, nada fuera de lo común.

Pero la luz lo convirtió en algo más.

En el suelo noté nuestras sombras reflejadas claramente, caminando una al lado de la otra. Junto a ellas, la sombra del árbol se extendía sobre el camino, como si nos acompañara en ese breve recorrido.

Me detuve un segundo a observarlo.

Había algo significativo en esa combinación: nosotros avanzando, acompañados por la presencia silenciosa del árbol. Tres sombras compartiendo el mismo espacio, moldeadas por la misma luz.

Me hizo pensar en cómo incluso los momentos más cotidianos pueden volverse especiales cuando prestamos atención.

Las sombras se mezclaban de forma natural, sin esfuerzo, creando una composición simple pero hermosa. Un recordatorio de que siempre estamos conectados con nuestro entorno, incluso de formas que no siempre notamos.

No quise dejar pasar ese momento.
