Hello Shadow Hunters community, once again I’m posting in this community and doing so to take part in the ShadowHunters SMASh Contest, round 413.

During the blackout, the house feels different. Quieter. Slower.
Sometimes I sit and wait for the electricity to come back… and other times, I invent.
I turned on the rechargeable lamp and, almost without thinking, picked up my glasses. I started moving them in front of the light, playing like a curious little girl. I wasn’t looking for anything special, just distracting myself.

But then I looked at the wall.
The shadow of my glasses was projected large, defined, almost perfect. I kept staring at it as if they weren’t just lenses, as if it were another way of looking at myself.

It made me think that even when everything goes dark, we keep searching for clarity. That sometimes the light isn’t in what we see directly, but in what is projected, in what we transform.

In the middle of the blackout, I discovered that it’s also possible to create.
That darkness is not always absence… sometimes it is the perfect background for something new to appear.

Aprendiendo a mirar en la oscuridad

Hola comunidad Shadow Hunters nuevamente publico en esta comunidad y lo hago para participar en el ShadowHunters SMASh contest la ronda 413.

Durante el apagón la casa se queda distinta. Más callada. Más lenta.
A veces me siento a esperar que regrese la corriente y otras veces invento.
Encendí la lámpara recargable y, casi sin pensarlo, tomé mis espejuelos. Empecé a moverlos delante de la luz, jugando como una niña curiosa. No buscaba nada especial, solo distraerme.

Pero entonces miré la pared.
La sombra de mis espejuelos se proyectó grande, definida, casi perfecta. Me quedé observándola como si no fueran solo lentes, como si fuera otra manera de mirarme a mí misma.

Me hizo pensar que, incluso cuando todo se apaga, seguimos buscando claridad. Que a veces la luz no está en lo que vemos directamente, sino en lo que se proyecta, en lo que transformamos.

En medio del apagón, descubrí que también se puede crear.
Que la oscuridad no siempre es ausencia, a veces es el fondo perfecto para que algo nuevo aparezca.
