Hello Shadow Hunters community, once again I’m posting in this community and doing so to take part in the ShadowHunters SMASh Contest, round 423.

While walking through the streets of the city, I stopped for a moment to photograph my shadow next to a post. It was one of those simple pauses, guided more by instinct than by planning.

I was focused on that image.

But just at that moment, a woman passed by my side. Almost without realizing it, her shadow entered the scene, crossing near mine and becoming part of the composition.

It all happened quickly.

What was going to be a photo of a single shadow turned into something more interesting. Two different presences, two paths, meeting briefly through their shadows without even interacting directly.

I found that detail beautiful.

Sometimes the street gives us these unexpected moments, where everything aligns for a second. Light, movement, and timing come together to create something unique.

I didn’t plan it, but I’m glad I captured it.

Dando un paseo por las calles de la ciudad, me detuve un momento a fotografiar mi sombra junto a un poste. Fue una de esas pausas simples, guiadas más por el instinto que por la planificación.

Estaba concentrada en esa imagen.

Pero justo en ese momento, una mujer pasó a mi lado. Casi sin darme cuenta, su sombra entró en la escena, cruzándose cerca de la mía y formando parte de la composición.

Todo ocurrió muy rápido.

Lo que iba a ser una foto de una sola sombra se convirtió en algo más interesante. Dos presencias distintas, dos caminos, que se encuentran brevemente a través de sus sombras sin interactuar directamente.

Ese detalle me pareció hermoso.

A veces la calle nos regala estos momentos inesperados, donde todo se alinea por un segundo. La luz, el movimiento y el tiempo se combinan para crear algo único.

No lo planeé, pero me alegra haberlo capturado.
