Defending the Farm.
I followed Hotephres to find Khenut mourning at Shadya's shrine. Bayek suggested a Siwan ritual, leading me to hunt a heron for a feather. After Khenut defended a farmer from a Greek soldier, I attempted to assassinate the Ptolemy captain, but I was eventually overpowered after a failed escape.
Gaming Photographs.

I was at Hotephres's villa from where I had to follow him to Khenut to check on the situation. The sun was high over the Egyptian landscape as we prepared our horses for the journey ahead.

While I was following him on the horse, I noticed Hotephres was riding very aggressively through the narrow paths. He was clearly distracted by his emotions, and he even made a poor animal on the road fall down as he galloped past. I had to steer my own horse carefully to avoid the chaos he was creating.

After getting to the place where they had made a shrine for Shadya, we found Khenut crying over there by the water. The atmosphere was heavy with sadness as she sat near the memorial they had built for the girl. It was a heartbreaking sight to see a mother so broken by her loss.

Khenut did not act well because the pain was just too much for her to bear in that moment. Bayek said there was something that might help her find peace, which was a ritual they do in Siwa to mark a loved one's passing. He wanted to help the family honor her memory in a traditional way.

I had to bring a heron feather to Shadya's shrine to complete the ritual. Flocks of herons usually appear near the Philadelphia farm, so I headed in that direction to find one. Senu helped me by spotting the birds from above and even helped me take down a heron for me there.

After getting back to Shadya's shrine and bringing the heron feather, I found a Greek soldier messing up with a local farmer. Khenut did not stay silent; she taught the man the Egyptian laws and forced him to back down. He left the place with a lot of rage, but being silent.

Then Khenut requested her husband that they should finally try to shake off their grief. She realized they could not let others suffer while they were mourning, especially not when they had the power to stop the soldiers.

I had to assassinate that Greek soldier who was the Ptolemy captain of Philadelphia. He was the one causing all the trouble for the farmers in this region. I tracked him down through the tall grass, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

This Greek soldier, along with some of his buddies, were planning to attack Khenut later this night. I had to see an end to him before he could carry out his plan, so I attacked him directly. However, they proved to be a very strong enemy and quickly surrounded my position.

I escaped their initial wrath as all of them started attacking me at once with their heavy spears. To survive the overwhelming numbers, I had to dive underwater and swim away through the lake. I stayed below for as long as I could, hoping they would lose sight of me.

After coming out of the water, I went for them again, hoping to catch them by surprise. But this time they caught me red-handed and they took me down very quickly. The captain and his men were just too powerful for me to handle alone.

Loved reading the post. Bayek's help for the family showed his kind heart. Now I am waiting to see revenge in the next part.
Thanks for stopping by. My next post is published already where started taking revenge.
That escape into the water was a smart move, even if it didn't end in a victory this time. Those Ptolemy captains are no joke when they have supports around.
When there is water around and I need to escape from strong opponents, diving underwater is the best way to survive.
Hunting the heron with Senu was a nice change of pace. Khenut teaching that Greek soldier a lesson he won't forget. Her grief has clearly turned into a powerful weapon.
I actually got lost there as I didn't understand the part about hunting a heron. Senu came as a savior without even me asking for his help.
Great job standing up for the farmers alongside Khenut. It's one of the best parts of being a Medjay. Great captures.
Right, thanks for stopping by.
