Buonasera amici italiani e non di hive, eccomi a partecipare al contest della settimana che stavolta ha come tema il paese nel quale ci piacerebbe vivere, non è una scelta facile avevo molte opzioni e idee perché ci sono vari paesi che amo molto, la Croazia? Bellissima, ci sono stata benissimo quasi ogni volta che ci sono andata ma per i servizi e le infrastrutture è un po carente e poi adesso ha dei rincari impossibili, poi pensavo in Repubblica ceca mi piace tanto ma anche li per tanti versi ci sono svariati problemi anche di diritti civili e altre questioni che nonostante sia una nazione a mio parere bellissima non me la rendono appetibile, Germania? Inghilterra? Troppi compaesani li mi sembrerebbe di essere tornata al paesello solo con stipendi decenti e sicuramente una qualità della vita migliore di qui, vabbè no scherzo queste due nazioni mi piacerebbero per viverci, però se proprio devo sognare e immaginare un paese dove starei secondo me molto molto bene è la Finlandia o qualcuno altro paese del nord europa tipo la Danimarca. Sono stati molto avanzati, con servizi efficiente, aiuti alle famiglie, pulizia, puntualità, un ottimo welfare e standard di vita buoni, insomma sono posti in cui si dovrebbe vivere bene, con meno preoccupazioni rispetto all' Italia forse o semplicemente preoccupazioni diverse. Certo è che sicuramente come ogni nazione la Finlandia ha i suoi pro e contro.

It's not an easy choice, I had many options and ideas because there are several countries I love very much. Croatia? Beautiful, I've had a wonderful time there almost every time I've been, but it's a bit lacking in services and infrastructure, and now it has impossible price increases. Then I thought about the Czech Republic, which I really like, but even there, in many ways, there are various problems, including civil rights and other issues that, despite being a beautiful country in my opinion, make it unattractive. Germany? England? Too many fellow countrymen there, it would make me feel like I've returned to my village, only with decent salaries and certainly a better quality of life than here. Oh well, no, I'm joking, I'd love to live in these two countries, but if I really have to dream and imagine a country where I'd be very, very happy, it's Finland or some other Northern European country like Denmark. They've been very advanced, with efficient services, family support, cleanliness, punctuality, excellent welfare, and good living standards. In short, they're places where you should live well, with fewer worries than Italy, perhaps, or simply different worries. What's certain is that, like any country, Finland certainly has its pros and cons.
Ma lasciatemi sognare che io già mi ci vedo non a Helsinki ( che non ho simpatia per nessuna capitale, le città capitali sono troppo caotiche) ma in un qualche bel paesino non troppo tra i monti ne troppo nella città, un luogo tranquillo con le renne che gironzolano intorno ( sarei anche curiosa di assaggiare la carne di renna, argh sono proprio pessima), la neve fuori casa e una bella casetta riscaldata piena di comfort ( okay lo so potrei fare questa vita anche in migliaia di altri stati) ma lì c'è buio per vari mesi e io da brava depressa adoro il buio anche se probabilmente il clima finlandese non gioverebbe alla mia depressione, però amo anche il freddo e l' inverno! E poi la Finlandia è un paradiso per chi come me ama la natura, laghi, foreste e tantissime altre bellezze naturali facilmente accessibili. Però certo che per la lingua sarebbe un problema, perché nonostante io ami le lingue il finlandese mi sembra difficilissimo e anche l' idea dei lunghi inverni pur amando questa stagione potrebbe essere non facile, però sopportabile pensando ai tanti pro di vivere in questo paese, poi dicono che i finlandesi non sono così freddi e scontrosi come i pregiudizi dicono dei popoli nordici, anzi pare che siano piuttosto informali e diretti, qualità che apprezzo molto nella persone. Comunque si ecco se potessi sceglierw mi piacerebbe provare a vivere in nord Europa, mi piacerebbe tanto!
But let me dream that I already see myself not in Helsinki (I don't like any capital city, capital cities are too chaotic) but in some beautiful village not too far into the mountains nor too far into the city, a quiet place with reindeer wandering around (I'd also be curious to try reindeer meat, argh I'm really terrible), snow outside the house and a nice heated house full of comforts (okay, I know I could live this life in thousands of other countries) but there it's dark for several months and as a good depressed person I love the dark even if the Finnish climate probably wouldn't help my depression, but I also love the cold and winter! And then Finland is a paradise for those like me who love nature, lakes, forests and so many other easily accessible natural beauties. Of course, the language would be a problem, because even though I love languages, Finnish seems incredibly difficult to me, and even the idea of long winters, even though I love this season, might be a bit challenging, but it's bearable considering the many advantages of living in this country. They also say that Finns aren't as cold and grumpy as Nordic people are often thought to be; in fact, they seem to be quite informal and straightforward, qualities I really appreciate in people. Anyway, if I could choose, I'd love to try living in Northern Europe. I'd love to!
