LOH Contest 253: Which celebrity do I look like?
This question reminds me of an incident from my childhood, specifically when I was in elementary school. Back then, everyone in my class was always associated with celebrities. In fact, this continued until I entered elementary school. My friends always played games like "look-alikes."
This made me more confident in myself. Since elementary school, I never had confidence in myself. In fact, I didn't even consider myself beautiful. I was always insecure around my beautiful friends who were popular with guys. They were good at dressing up.
In fact, I got a boyfriend when I entered college. So, who do I look like? I was told I looked like Mika Tambayong. An Indonesian actress. She even released several singles. Her songs became my favorites.
When people thought I looked like Mika Tambayong, I always wanted to know more about her. I wanted to know what she liked, what dramas she was currently acting in. I watched every drama she appeared in. This continued until I entered college. I considered myself similar to her.
In fact, when I entered university, I felt a little more confident wearing slightly more fashionable clothes. My confidence increased. I wore the hijab and was able to appear more fashionable. Bandung is a city with a center for fashion. Of course, with my increased confidence, I wouldn't miss that.
I felt happy about it. I felt a little more alive. From initially lacking confidence to being able to appear more fashionable, it changed me a lot. Do you feel the same way now? With all I've been through, it feels like I no longer feel that way. That's all I can say. What do you think? Do you do the same?
