🏁 CONTEST: Sketch Quest January

Today I made this drawing to participate in 🏁 CONTEST: Sketch Quest January, by @quatro, I liked the freedom of this contest regarding the theme so I decided to draw one of my favorite animals, a small bee, for that I chose to make it semi-realistic and traditional, I used real bee images as reference and tried to capture the essence between a scientific illustration and a creative drawing, I consider bees a very interesting animal, they are also the symbol of productivity and hard teamwork, and without their presence nature becomes unbalanced, therefore they are very important.

Hoy hice este dibujo para participar en 🏁 CONTEST: Sketch Quest January, de @quatro, me gustó la libertad de este concurso a la hora del tema así que decidí dibujar uno de mis animales favoritos, una pequeña abejita, para eso decidí hacerla semirrealista y en tradicional, utilicé como referencia imágenes de abejas reales que encontré y traté de capturar la esencia entre una ilustración científica y un dibujo creativo, las abejas las considero un animal muy interesante, además son el símbolo de la productividad y el trabajo duro en equipo, y sin su presencia la naturaleza se desequilibra, por lo tanto son muy importantes.

My Drawing Process

Mi proceso de dibujo

1.

I will be using recycled paper to make this drawing, you already know the importance I give to optimizing resources, in it I will make a small sketch where I will capture the parts of the little bee, the head, the thorax and its tail ending in a stinger, I will also add its legs, its eye and the antennas, as well as the details in the wings.

Estaré usando un papel reciclado para realizar este dibujo, ya saben la importancia que le doy a optimizar recursos, en él haré un pequeño boceto donde plasmaré las partes de la abejita, la cabeza, el tronco y su cola terminada en un aguijón, también añadiré sus patas, su ojo y las antenas, además de los detalles en las alas.

I will use a pen to make the lines of my drawing, and the details that I did not make in the sketch.

Utilizaré un bolígrafo para hacer las líneas de mi dibujo, y los detalles que no realicé en el boceto.

When I have all the lines ready and I am satisfied with the result, I proceed to erase my sketch by deleting it gently.

Cuando tengo todas las líneas listas y estoy satisfecho con el resultado, procedo a eliminar mi boceto borrándolo suavemente.

I will finish by adding color to my drawing using colored pencils and making a light background so that the bee stands out against it, I also added some volumes using orange, I really liked the final result and I ended up adding this drawing to my sketchbook, thank you for accompanying me one more day drawing.

Terminaré agregando color a mi dibujo usando lápices de colores y haciendo un fondo claro para que destaque la abeja sobre el fondo, también le agregué algunos volúmenes usando naranja, me gustó mucho el resultado final y terminé agregando este dibujo a mi sketchbook, gracias por acompañarme un día más dibujando.
