‎I was looking for a movie that doesn't say anything too loudly, but rather comes quietly and touches the heart gently. And that's when I saw Studio Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart. And to be honest, it's not just an anime, it's like an experience. It was nice to share it with you.

‎Shizuku is a teenage girl who loves books, dreams, but hasn't found her inner voice yet. I had a lot in common with her. School, family, dreams of writing, doubts about the future everything seemed to become a part of her life.

‎One day, Shizuku noticed that the books she took from the library had all been read by a previous reader, Seiji Amasawa. From then on, a sweet mystery, a magical attraction begins. This attraction leads her to Seiji, a boy who is also fighting for his own dream. He wants to go to Germany because he is addicted to making violins. And this is where my favorite place is when Shizuku realizes that she also has something to say to this world, something to create. She devotes herself to writing, creating a world in her imagination, where a cat named The Baron lives.

‎This song is the soul of the movie. Shizuku's own translation of Concrete Roads really stuck in my mind. It was like a cry of the heart hidden under the concrete of the city. I still listened to the song many times alone at night, with headphones, with my eyes closed. It was like someone was singing to me.

‎This movie taught me that everyone has to grow up in their own time. Shizuku didn't grow up suddenly. People like Seiji, his confidence, his goals inspired Shizuku, but didn't pressure her. This place left a mark on me.
It is very important to have someone in our lives who doesn't tell you to change, but teaches you to dream your own way.

‎I thought it would be a fantasy, with lots of characters and magic, but when I saw that it was actually very real, I liked it even more. The small things in the city, standing on the roof and taking in the air, the smell of the library, the night light, all seemed like familiar scenes from my own life.
‎One more thing, the character of The Baron has a kind of nostalgia. There is a touch of magic, but he lives within reality.
