Pink Month is here, a month in which we honor all women who have gone through or are currently going through cancer treatment, or those who are experiencing menopause, which symbolizes the transition to a much more mature stage of adulthood. Pink Month commemorates women who have battled cancer, those who are currently undergoing treatment, and those who have emerged victorious, as well as those who have lost their battle, those warriors who fight every day to heal but do not reach their goal. For them, it is a month of gratitude and female empowerment.

A timely warning or caution could save us from many things. It also teaches us the best way to deal with this situation in the best possible way. Personally, my family on my mother's side has suffered from cancer, and in fact, most of them have died from this terrible disease. To all my family members who have lost the battle against cancer, this publication is in their honor. When we reach a mature age, it is good to see our doctor, get the necessary tests done, and take care of ourselves, since cancer can appear at any time and in ways we least expect. It is the right time to check our breasts and keep up with our breast exams.

Personally, I am a woman who has just turned 37, but for the past two years I have been suffering from a lump in my right breast, which has been diagnosed as chronic mastitis. It needs to be treated, as it could progress to another stage, which is something we want to avoid. So, I have regular breast examinations, such as breast ultrasounds and mammograms, because I am at risk due to my age. I have my exams done in the city of Maturín, but my primary care physician, that is, my breast specialist, is located in the city of Cumana, who has handled my case in the best way possible. At the moment, I am waiting for this month to get checked and verify that everything is going well. We can also add to this that I may soon enter menopause because I had early development.

The call is for you to get yourself checked out, to see a doctor as soon as you feel something strange in your body, particularly your breasts. It is something routine that all women in this world should do. Prevention is the best option for preventing cancer.

Ha llegado el mes rosa, un mes donde hacemos honor a todas las mujeres que han pasado o están teniendo en este momento un proceso de enfermedad a causa del cáncer, o aquellas que están sintonía o un proceso para la menopausia, lo cual simboliza la entrada a una edad adulta mucho más madura que la que se tiene. El mes rosa conmemora a las mujeres que han batallado en contra de cáncer, aquellas que se encuentran en el proceso y las que han salido victoriosa, también aquellas que han perdido su batalla, a esas guerreras que día a día luchan por sanar, pero no llegan a la meta, para ellas es todo un mes de agradecimiento y de empoderamiento femenino.


Un aviso o un cuido a tiempo nos podría salvar de muchas cosas, también nos enseña la mejor manera para llevar a cabo este momento de la mejor manera, en lo personal mi familia por parte de mi madre han sufrido de cáncer y de hecho la mayoría ha fallecido a causa de esta terrible enfermedad, a toda mi familia que ha perdido la batalla contra en cáncer, esta publicación es en su honor. Cuando llegamos a una edad madura es bueno acudir a nuestro médico, hacer los respectivos exámenes y cuidarnos de todo, ya que el cáncer puede aparecer en cualquier momento y de la manera que menos pensamos, es el momento indicado para chequear nuestras mamas y estar al día con nuestros controles mamarios.

En lo personal soy una mujer de 37 años recién cumplidos, pero desde hace 2 años he venido sufriendo debido a una masa que se me localizo en el seno derecho, lo cual es diagnosticado como una mastitis crónica, pero debe ser tratada, ya que podría pasar a otro nivel y es lo que no queremos, así que periódicamente me realizo exámenes en mis mamas, como eco mamario y mamografía, porque por mi edad me toca. En la ciudad de Maturín me realizo mis exámenes, pero mi doctora de cabecera, es decir mi mastóloga se encuentra en la ciudad de Cumana la cual ha llevado mi proceso de la mejor manera, por los momentos estoy en espera de este mes para chequearme y verificar que todo marche bien, también a esto le podemos sumar que dentro de poco puedo entrar en menopausia debido a que tuve un desarrollo precoz.

El llamado es para que te analices, para que acudas al médico en el primer momento en que te sientas algo extraño en tu cuerpo, particularmente las mamas, es algo de rutina que deberíamos tener todas las mujeres en este mundo. La prevención es la opción más acertada de prevenir el cáncer.
