The Saturday fuel: a beer

The weekend is here, friends! Today is a Saturday of partying, walking, having fun, but also staying at home to rest, but always accompanied by the golden elixir: beer.

Yesterday, after a long week of work, I preferred to stay at home watching a movie. Since I had to watch Conclave (the movie that is in fashion due to the election of the new Pope), I looked for my glasses to see better (I am nearsighted), took a delicious and cold beer out of the fridge, and sat in front of the TV ready to spend a different Friday.

The beers I had at home were Polar light canned beers. This presentation is new and embodies the sense of fun, walking, nature, not only with the blue color, but also with the tiny images allegorical to the sea.

This Polar is a very mild tasting beer (not bitter), light, pilsen type, with reduced calories (29), 3.5° alcohol and ingredients such as water, malted barley, cereals, hops and stabilizers. It is a 355 ml can and priced at $1.10.

Personally, this Polar light is not one of my favorite beers. I feel that it is very insipid (it has the taste of beers that have been frozen and then thawed), however, I recognize that they are ideal in hot moments, since you can drink many of these and not feel that the alcohol has an effect on your body.

It is good to point out that Polar companies have innovated the national beer market by offering Polar Light in cans with different and creative designs, always projecting the fun, the party, but also the essence of the Venezuelan. And part of the essence of the Venezuelan is precisely “La Polar”.

This is the week of The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 411, an initiative of the sparkling #Beer community and the incomparable @detlev. This week I'd like to invite my friend @oacevedo .

Thank you very much for your reading, comment and support, my friend. Until next time

Cheers! You're right; frozen and then thawed beers aren't very good. I sometimes forget one in the freezer, but then I just throw it away.

Throw a beer, in the brewers' bible, is a sin! You can use it to macerate a meat or chicken, and even pour it in your hair. hahaha. I send you a hug and thanks for your support, @seckorama 🍻

Conclave ... so we both had a religious theme in our beer saturday posts this week...

Great minds think alike.
If you are thirsty and the beer quenches that thirst, then it is good! Time for a thirst quenching hug Nancy :)
