Night Photography - Days Gone.

The contest themes of @gamingphoto helps us seeing things in a video game that we normally ignore.

For this contest, I tried capturing how different the world of Days Gone feels at night. From riding through dark forests to campfires and torches glowing in the distance, everything had a different mood.

Sometimes it was quiet, other times scary with hordes nearby, but the night always gave me the best frames.

Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Night Photography.

Is that a wolf as a mountain, or what? It looks cool though. I wished to go there, but I didn't find a way.

All the photos above were captured when I was running from one or multiple hordes. Only thing common among them is they are wild and they look hungry.

I was riding.. where? I forgot. Well, I was riding somewhere and I was pointing my handgun at someone as you can see. But who was there behind me?

Yeah, that's a Breaker who started chasing me right after seeing me. I rode away as I was not ready to fight him. And there was this broken bridge that I jumped over.

And I returned to take him down, though I don't remember whether I took him down or not.

I went to Pioneer Cemetery after a long time to see O'Brian and when he left, I was alone there at the entrance of the cemetery. I still remember this is the place I first started playing the game from.

This traffic is not normal. I was riding around in the dark and suddenly noticed this traffic there. I stopped there for this view of the traffic in the night time.

I visited Copeland's Camp after a long time to try some night photography there as I already did this around Mike's Camp. I had to sleep there to get the dark out and found this frame.

The whole camp had campfire and barrelfire (did I just make up this term?) around and I noticed this couple was having a chat by a barrelfire.

I didn't disturb the couple, I moved to this place instead and noticed the flame of the big torch that looked cool.

I was riding out of Copeland's Camp and stopped seeing the torch outside. I was about to focus on Deacon but then I noticed the frame looks better with focusing only on the flame, leaving Deacon behind in blurriness.

That's a Horde I'd probably come back to take down someday, but not today.

This route through the forest was dark and scary. Just imagine Valak (the demon in the Conjuring 2) comes out of the forest suddenly.

Entrance of High Desert Logging. I've been here before but not for photographs.

How do you like it?

And this as a night photography?
