Juniper Ridge Horde - Days Gone.

The contest themes of @gamingphoto helps us seeing things in a video game that we normally ignore.

There was a horde close-by from where I ambushed a marauder team last time. With the contest theme in my mind, I took down the horde in cinematic style, I mean I took the shots in cinematic stye, adding cinematic bar on every shots from the photo mode's frame.

Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Cinematic Shots.

There were three spots to look for the horde and that's the first one. I noticed bloodstains there which tells me the horde used to come here, probably at night for their dinner, but they were not there right away.

This was the second spot to look for them. It was below that bridge and there was a river line there. I guess the horde goes there to drink water, but they were not around right away.

This is the last spot, the cave where the horde hides from sunlight in daytime. I noticed the horde coming this way the other time so they should've been in the cave there and I could hear noise of them screaming from the cave.

I was not brave enough to get into the cave and look for myself if the horde was there, so I threw a molotov there inside the cave, which lured the horde run outside. I took the bike to escape their wrath.

After riding to a distance, I stopped to shoot down the followers. But most of them went back into the cave when they couldn't get me. I shot down the few that were desperately chasing me.

I returned to the cave and I started shooting from a distance. The horde came out hearing the gunshots and I shot some of them down without moving. Then I had to escape at a point and you can see there, they almost got me.

I lured the horde to a distance from the cave and then I shot down the ones that were keen to come to a long distant.

There, I was late in getting on my bike as I thought I could wipe them down. But they attacked me at the last moment and I somehow escaped and survived.

Some split up freaks from the horde were going back to the cave so I chased them and I shot them down with my handgun with silencer.

I was doing a drift stunt with my bike there. If I hand brake and release the pickup at the same time, the bike starts drifting and it looks cool.

I returned to the cave, threw a molotov and ran to my bike. Then I stopped after going a distance and shot down the freaks that followed me to the end.

At this moment I knew I was f*** up there were very few freakers left alive. So I held my ground at the entrance of the cave and I shot down the last of them from there without moving an inch.

Then I went into the cave to see how it looks. I knew there were none left in the cave, but I was still scared being in the cave.

That's another horde that I noticed later in my exploration. Not today, but I'd take care of them someday.

Stay tuned so you don't miss what I'll show later in this Gaming Photography community.

The final moments holding your ground at the cave entrance were nail-biting to read. I could almost imagine the silence and that cautious feeling before moving in. Great storytelling and good luck for the contest.

Teasing the horde with Molotov was really funny. I get more pleasure from seeing their asses on fire.
