A Photographic Journey for Wallpapers - Ghost of Tsushima.
The contest themes of @gamingphoto help us see things in a video game that we normally ignore.
This contest entry shows my exploration of Ariake Lighthouse, Golden Forest, and riverbanks after slaying Mongols. I framed scenic landscapes, wildlife, waterfalls, and combat moments.
Each image combines adventure and visual storytelling, showcasing dynamic gameplay and the immersive beauty of the environment, from the vast ocean to golden forests and quiet camps of Ghost of Tsushima.
I noticed a lighthouse far after I slayed the Mongols at Yoichi's Crossroads. To get to the lighthouse faster, I tried to climb down.
There was this small camp near the riverbank where I noticed some dead bodies. This place stopped me for its beauty.
The lighthouse was still a far way, and before getting there, I noticed the waterfalls went towards the ocean. The waterfalls were not so realistic, but the sound was.
I rode my horse to get to the lighthouse. It's Ariake Lighthouse, where I thought I'd find some Mongols, but there was no one around.
I climbed on the tower, using some ladders. I thought I'd be able to climb on top, but that's my last stop from where I could see the vast ocean calling for me.
I couldn't stop myself from jumping off the lighthouse and swimming in the ocean, but this wish killed me. I understood I'm not allowed to jump into the ocean.
This is the Golden Forest. It was like midday, but it felt like sunset time from the Golden Forest, probably for all those golden leaves.
I suddenly noticed this fox in the Golden Forest, near a battlefield. The fox gives me a special quest to follow, which is called Fox Den. I didn't start following Fox Den yet; I just made the fox model for the frames above, where I tweaked the time of day for the same frame.
I found some bandits fighting some Mongols there, and I joined the fight. That's the first Mongol I killed there, having two more of them witnessing this.
When I was done taking down all the Mongols, I noticed one of them didn't die, and was like crawling and suffering. I ended his suffering in this way. Anyway, it became night auto, so I didn't tweak the time again.
And then I noticed my horse relaxing when I was fighting the Mongols and bandits.

The way you described the Ariake Lighthouse was very nice. It was calm and quiet, even after all the fighting. The ocean view sounded peaceful and sad. Great Pictures.
